Ilse Zaal visited the Kapiteyn Group

On August 31st the Provincial Executive for Province Noord Holland, Ilse Zaal, visited one of the Kapiteyn Group facilities (Kapiteyn Export) as a field visit to the Dutch flower bulb industry.

After an informative tour through our retail export facility, an interactive meeting was organized by the KAVB with a selection of industry partners (Koninklijke Algemeene Vereeniging voor Bloembollencultuur (KAVB), Rabobank, Agrifirm GMN, Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier – HHNK, and the mayor of our municipality, Gemeente Hollands Kroon.
During the meeting we all discussed the flower bulb industry developments for breeding, production and exports. Combined with all challenges and opportunities we are facing together now and for the coming years.
The Kapiteyn Group were proud to host this meeting and we can look back on a successful discussion together.
